Are you taking the wee wee?

mine used to do it too sometimes, I think the problem was caused by coming home in the evenings with the heater on full, all warm and toasty, perhaps having been in there for an hour or more so full of nice hot but moisture laden air, but it was freezing cold outside.

As soon as you get out and turn off, the windscreen and windows cool down unbelievably quicky, causing condensation to form, where it sits all night and freezes if it gets cold enough.

On the few occasions it bothered me, the night before used to drive the last mile or so with the window open, seemed to stop it from happening. BUT was less pleasure than sitting in it for 10 mins in the morning with the heater on drinking a brew waiting for it to clear.

I also tried running a dehumidifier in there overnight as an experiment, and this also cured the problem.

hand on heart, there were no leaks in the vehicle, even the rear tool box was bone dry.
