A date for your diary: 16 June will be Garrison open day 2007 in Colchester. We're still in the early planning stages, but the date is confirmed (and so is the venue:rolleyes: )
As in previous editions, we'll have lots of military machines (including quite a few Land Rovers), tug-of-war and "it's a knockout" type games, stunt motorbikes, re-enactors, stalls and loads of other stuff we've not thought of yet. Why not paint yer Rover green and bring it along?

Some photos from the 2006 event can be seen here...

If any of you DO have military Land Rovers and you want to get in for free, drop me a line and I'll send you the bumf.

As for the rest of you: bring the kids along to meet Heidi.

Gareth :)

One of the themes for this year's show will be the 25th anniversary of the Falklands war (25 years - can you believe it?). We're also in talks with various peeps with a view to getting a line-up of every type of tank transporter used by the British Army since WW2, so that should be something a little different too.
Last year the Jeeps outnumbered the Land Rovers, so we need to redress the balance this year ;)
If you've got a military Land Rover, make sure you bring it along. If you haven't, come on down anyway and bring the kids - free Heidi stickers for all littl'uns (and Yella).
