Hi my cool springs are looking a bit tired with not finish on them now back to bare metal, what's the best way to make them look better? Paint? Plastidip? Powdercoating?

Any help appreciated

To be honest, allmakes do decent springs for cheap and they will give a better ride than old springs.
You should powdercoat a spring really if you must.

Even if your springs are as cool as the fonz, might be time for a new set, if the coating has all come off they are probably a bit saggy as well.

You can paint them, couple of coats of red oxide would be fine, but they are fiddly to clean up before painting.

Don't, just get new standard height springs. :)

A new set is not expensive, but then again there are loads of perfectly good standard springs around from when folks that have lifted their Landys.

IMO I'd avoid HD sets. Good road handling but very very hard on the spine!

Tell me about it! I drove a diesel 2a 109 with extra heavy duty leaf springs all round for years :D

Absolutely pulverised my lower back, and it is still bad to this day :(
