Hi Chaps

Could anyone recommended a code reader for my Freelander 2 2011. A reader that not only reads error codes but has the ability to clear then

Most cheapo diy readers/scanners will clear engine related codes but only the more expensive ones will read and clear other codes (abs, aircon, transmission etc)

If its a diesel, petrol ones pre 2001 arent obd2 compliant and wont work.

I tried it last week, so dont waste your money on a £13 OBD tool.

Diesels are OBD2 compliant from 2004/5 so your Freelander 2 will be present no problems.

a snap-on modis will read and clear the fault codes.
