hi could anyone point me to a easy fix the clutch sometimes appears to be slipping when changing gear but if you manually raise the pedal a little appears to stop tried the high gear pull off and it stallls so clutch itself seems ok regards kev
I guess you have to make sure all the bits are working as they should.
The pedal is not sticking on the bushes inside at the pivot, just grab it and fee. I dont know if there is adjustment, but it would be at the slave.
The clutch fork is not sticking in the gearbox, that would entail taking off the slave cylinder and again feeling it.
The slave cylinder is not faulty, sticking!!, when you have it off the piston should move out and return by hand pressure.
The way I do this is unbolt it but keep it on the clutch fork/rod, get somebody to very gently press the clutch pedal "slowly", and you will feel it push the cylinder away from the fork/rod. Dont go daft just a little bit then push it back in against the fork/rod, it should be smooth.
Doubt the master will give this fault.
Clutch is fooked, gearbox out.
