Hi
I have noticed an increase in the 'whine' I have been hearing from the clutch. I have a Defender TD5 1999.
It is worst first thing in the morning, but now seems to be getting louder during normal driving temps.
Any idea what it is???

p.s. The clutch seems to work fine.

whines all the time wehether using clutch or not ,does just lightlt pressing clutch so you dont loose drive alter sound ,check gear box oil for contamination and level

It has been suggested that this noise could be a worn spigot bush???????

if its occuring during normal driving wihout using clutch its not so likely
