Hello all,
I've just bought my first land rover, a 1.8 petrol freestyle from a garage about 30 miles from me in Blackburn (I'm based in Wigan)
Anyway, I've had it a week. I only do short journeys, max 8 miles a day. I've ran my land rover out twice and both times I've noticed the gear change become very very hard when the engine has been run a while / clutch been used a lot.
It's like I'm pressing the clutch in and nothing is happening so is like putting it in gear with the ignition off and a horrible crunching in reverse.
The clutch is pressed right to the floor and it's only doing this when it's been used a lot on a journey and doesn't return to normal until fully cools down, hours later.
I don't know where to start, please please could someone help shed some light. Anything would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Heather
