I purchased my Freelander TD4 (2005 Plate) in February 2009 and in the last five months I've had the clutch Slave and/or Master Cylinders fail four times. Each time they've been repaired under warranty but even I know that there MUST be an underlying cause for this which they're not fixing. Any of you guys got any ideas because I'm getting extremely peed off as you may imagine.:doh:

i'd be worried that the clutch itself might be too stiff. If it wasn't your Landrover dealer then I'd also suspect cheap duff parts or not properly replacing them, but that shouldn't happen in your case.

What exactly have been the symptoms of 'failure' each time?
What exactly has been done to 'repair' them?

I would have thought that 'overload' would be the likely cause, but surely that would have been obvious to the mechanic when he tested the clutch....
