Hi all

Over the past couple of days I've noticed a change with the clutch of my defender 90. The biting point of the clutch has gone really low - nearly on the floor and I am finding it hard sometimes (not all the time) to select gears , especially first gear. I can force it into gear but it is an effort.

It drives as normal when in gear. I am not a mechanic but can anyone advise what this could mean?

Thanks all

Sounds like either the clutch is not disengaging so could be slave cylinder failing or the clutch fork has worn through

Clutch fork is gearbox (or engine out) to fix and while your there you might aswell change the clutch.

Slave cylinder is easier and can be done in situ but bleeding can be tricky, reverse bleeding some say works. Mine was omay normal way
