My clutch slave cylinder decided to crash today. Has been leaking very slowly for 6 months and ive been adding brake fluid maybe once a month but now i saw brake fluid escaping dripping under the car, and clutch only worked for maybe 10 times before all fluid was gone. So will have to take it to a garage this week because i dont think ill manage to replace it myself. Since i live in sweden and spare parts for land rovers here are crazy expensive, i thought id order a new slave+master cylinder kit from ebay but i dont want to order any crappy parts. Which brand should i choose? Tips are very welcome! Should i also order a new clutch? Its a Freelander TD4 HSE -06

By coincidence, I've just done the clutch in our 02 Td4. The original equipment is AP, so go for that. I would replace clutch and slave while you're in there. The whole lot cost me £156 from island 4x4. They are very good on price, and post worldwide, so maybe it would be cheaper getting the stuff from them.

Slave cylinder the same and yes you need to change the clutch over the last eighteen months I have changed three TD4 clutches on each I used LUK kits, at the same time I replaced the dual mass flywheels with solid flywheels as there not really essential again you can by the complete conversion kit from LUK.
