Hi,

I thought you might be interested to know that there is a new repair service avalilble for the Remote Radio Display clock as used in MK1 Freelanders. These clocks are a similar design to that used in Rover 200's and the Rover Coupe Owners Club has invested in a new service to repair these clocks. I thought that might be of interest to this group.

Details can be found here:-

Thanks

Discount for quantity? :D

Actually, the Tomcat was sold recently.

Guy who bought it has a couple of them and a collection of P5's.

By joining the RCOC, there is a tenner discount, which pays for itself after one clock :) (Joining is a tenner....)

Nice to see another tomcat!

Vey interesting thank you for sharing with us all.
No problem. One feels a bit bad promoting our services on other forums, but - not being a freelander owner, you would never know! if it helps the group, then thats all good in my view.

I know people have been buying the "new" ones off of ebay by the number sold at £150 . Ive had new ones that have failed out of the box. all the stock is old, and the failure on these is caused by aging, not use.

So much of the Rover group era stuff is cross compatible, then it makes sence to pool resources where we can.
