I bought an ex utility Defender back in November & haven't bothererd cleaning it up until now due to the weather.
As it warms up a bit, I thought I'd give it a spring clean soon & was wondering if anyone can advise me on the best way to tackle what is some fairly heavily soiled galvanised metalwork on the front bumper, racks & ladders (see pic).

Thanks.

I've got a couple of galvanised trailers that are looking a bit ropey, I think the salted roads dont help. Gonna need a load of distilled vinegar (WTF) by the sounds of it !
