My hardback roof is looking a little grey. Does anyone have any tips on how to give it a nice black shine?

before anyone says, no I am not using fire to make it black.

You could always give Mer Bumper and Vinyl gel a go it works wonders on most finishes, give it a coat followed by another a week after and it lasts for ages, oherwise turtle wax Ice in the clear liquid form is excellent as well.

Autoglyms rubber and vinyl treatment is tremendous stuff- makes all your placcy bits look like new and lasts for ages, Ive used it on dashboards, interior placcy trim, exterior placcy trim, tyres, engine bays. Always cleans and removes polish off the ectrior placcy trim if you have been a bit 'sloppy' when polishing. Highly reccomended
Will sort out your hardtop easy.

meguiars hot rims tyre shine i use .....or poorboys trim detailer .....they are the best out there for plastic trim ..both are clear /transparent and wipe off paintwork very easily

ive got the plastic arch on the rear going grey n white. would this stuff work on that rather than buying a new plastic arch?
