Im swapping my old gearboxes with those from an 89 classic which has the viscous coupling and mine doesnt. Is it a straight swap ? what are the wires on the rear of the transfer box as my old one doesnt have them?
Also im about to swap the cam and want to know whats the best way to get the crank pulley off as you cant exactly lock it in gear to stop the engine spinning. Also is it a reverse thread as dont want to accidently try and tighten it? Any help would be greatfully received as sworn at it lots already!:confused:
