Help! I own a 1986 3.5 EFI classic Rangerover Manual if that makes a difference.
Problem is, when it starts the engine runs at 2000 RPM and stays there. The ECU has been referbished no other componants had faults regestered in the ECU replaced the vacum pipes, so as far as i can tell no air leaks.
the Idle screw in the plenem chamber makes little or no difference I have replaced the air flow meter again no difference removed the " nineth " injector no difference the only thing that I am having difficulty in checking is the Thermo timer switch. Reluctant to buy this just incase as you prob all know very expensive and like hens teeth.
Basically i'm stumped
Any thoughts help insperation I would gladly except Thanks Rich
