Guys, I’m embarrassed to say I’ve made a rookie error and think I’ve blown the fuel pump fuse while changing the fuel pump relay on my 93’ lse In haste I didn’t disconnect the battery and shorted something while pushing the relay connector back into its mates mounting tab under the seat…
I did have power to the pump (which is dead) before my error and now I don’t.. I’ve checked all the dash fuses and the ones at the back of both front seats and all seems good. Any ideas? I’m feeling kinda stumped!.

I’ll have to double check but all dash and seat fuses looked fine. Looks like I’ll need to do some more testing.
It was the perm live supply into the pump relay (pin 30) that I accidentally shorted to earth so I’ll have to figure what it might have blown…
 
You might have blown one of the "Mega" fuses. Depending on model there can be 2,3 or 4 underneath the right hand seat.
I'd suggest fixing your original problem of a busted pump. It could be popping your fuse if it has seized.
Also, you have a main power relay under your seat which might have been damaged during your "whoopsie".

As soon as I can get time to dig around under the seat I’ll have a look and report back.

Other than engine issues my old rangie hasn’t needed any electrical work for years so I’ve forgotten where everything is..
I suspected the pump as the car ran sweet as a nut for 20 miles (with fresh fuel) on its way to an mot after a two year snooze on the driveway then the idle began to drop, 5 mins later as I pulled up at the mot garage it spluttered to a stop followed by running twice for short 5 min bursts and stopping again.
Armed with a new pump and two new relays for reassurance I was sure I’d sort it. If only I’d disconnected the battery first!..
I tested the pump wiring after fitting a new relay and it was sending power to the pump to prime but pump not whirring so I went to pop the relay base back home and zap…
