I've read the forums on the RF changes on P38's that stops battery drain for the car when left standing but I can't find an answer on a classic.
My car is a 95 Soft Dash LSE and the battery charge only lasts for 2 days if the car is not being used. I put a meter on the car today and it draws a 0.5 volt rate when turned off and locked. Where on earth is that coming from?
The alarm module failed today and I thought that that might have been the problem, however with that removed the drain still showed up at o.5 volts.
The only way to stop the discharge is to take out the main fuse on the car in the engine bay.
Its booked in to see an auto electrician next week however I don't want to be given a £250 bill to be told they can't find anything.
Suggestions would be greatfully received.
