Hi,

I do not actually have a land rover but I do own and Isuzu Rhodeo and I would like to learn how to drive it properly off road. I am completely new to this. If you are near me in Basingstoke and fancy taking me under your wing for some simple off road driving please get in touch. In return maybe i could take you canoeing or kayaking some time.

Join the Solent and district landrover club (sadlrc). They accept a few foreign vehicles but you may get a small amount of ****take (as I did when I turned up in a Terrano). They normally have a couple of events each month both laning and sites. Have a look at their website.
Cheers and welcome, Vince

:welcome: Chris

keep an eye out for posts in the green laning section from snifflebags and I. You are always welcome. I am sure the surrey guys wont mind either, when you have more confidence.

Thank Vince, I am planning to have a first proper off road outing this Saturday on the scatterhunt that should help me find out what I do not know....

Okay, I'll say it...

... I would like to learn how to drive it properly off road.

Â…then get a Land Rover :crazy_driver: :hysterically_laughi

Sorry, couldn't resist. Seriously, welcome Chris, and don't let the ribbing get to you - I've had Toyota and Nissan 4x4s in the past and loved them , and our family car is a Nissan X Trail. :)

I'm sure you'll find the Landy crowd pretty friendly.

Beware however, Landrover addiction is very contagious!
