Hello there,got a defender 90 300tdi 1996.We are now expecting are first child,and i was wondering what is the best way of fitting a child seat in the back,Exmoor trim are doing a folding/locking chair but want around £500 for it!Would defender 2007 rear seats retro fit into my 90,how dose that affect the insurance etc.Any advise would be appreicated,otherwise the wife will insist on me selling it and getting a car:eek: .
 
If no one replies try doing a search this came up ages ago, 18 months or mebee longer.

just do what I do and stick the baby seat in the front mrs in the middle seat or the back with the dogs
 
Yer can git a baby carrier that straps safely in the middle seat using a lap belt, 'parently.

just out of interest, what value do you put on your child then, i mean, 500 is too expensive, how about if they were 100 quid, or is that still a bit more than you value the safety of your child ???
