I have a bug for a land rover which just won't go away !! I am in the process of selling my current ride to make way for my dream car
. My dad used to have a SWB Series 3 with a 3 litre diesel lump from one of those around town buses and range rover diffs fitted which was brilliant fun I would ask him all the questions but i don't want him to know that i'll be geting one. There are so many questions and i will be trawling through the forum, a basic one though is: what are the different models in the series 3 and early defender range cause my mind is baffled ??? Also, is it easy(ish) to alternate between hard-top, canvass, naked etc with regards to the roof ??? What are the legailitie's of having no roof at all ????
