my discos been bobtailed/turned into a pick up but the lad that made it never plated the back end off.it could look better and you cant put anything in it.so im plating it off
 
don't do chequer get flat plate and blend it in, will look a lot better than all those ****ty chequer plate covered monstrosities

try metal supermarket, think they're nearby to you and usually decent on price
 
haha I've got some that'll match your size but its all in pieces so unless you can tig or use ally stick/mig its fairly useless, I'd weld it back up meself but I cba
 
its just 3 pieces, was rear tub of my series cut into 3 strips to fit round roll cage ;) probably get round to it at some point but for now it can sit out in the rain
