Telling me that you're no good with computers you have ventured into the cross dressing section. Better try and get it shifted before someone throws a handbag at you.......

Only kidding ladies :D

Bugger it!

Nobody told me I would need to replace the chassis in my Hippo!

Phew! just realised he was talking about a trattor. Ah well just have get on with driving it instead. :p

or the foot wells Lord Hippo
LOL
Foot wells... Do they rust anorl? It's no wonder they're always replacing bits. There be nothing left if they didn't. Makes you wonder if the tratter thefts are really thefts. It could be the case they contain so many rust worms they're eaten in one night.

Or head gaskets. :p:p:p:p

Oh crap, forgot I have a K series. :(
Hey, they pick on our head gasket but ferget to mention v8's need a complete overhaul at about 100k miles. When they're coming up to that mileage (if they make it) prices fall in sympathy of the work needed.

All this bravado, who's had the balls to look behind the liner on the rear wheel arch front of their Freelander for some of those worms!

Makes me feel sooo much betterer.

Now where did I put that torque wrench?

Tratterers also blowed up their diff's more frequently than Freelander anorl. Nice to know others have transmission problems anorl.

Behind the big u shape plastic bit that goes round the arch?

The rear wheel arch plastic liners are MASSIVE crap traps, they build up wet mud just in front of the rear wheels and rot sets in.

I just did the driver side one on Friday on mine, it's a 2002 and the rust was JUST about to turn nasty, pulled the liner out, got all the flaky crap off and filled the entire thing with hammerite to stop it going any further.

Do it now! You'll regret it if you don't...

My official title is Lord Hippo of Landyzone. But you can call me Lord Hippo for short. :p
