Hi all,

I bought my first land rover at the weekend. It's a 1988 110, and it's got a few issues that need addressing so I imagine I'll be on here a lot from now on.
The main issue is that someone has cut through the wiring loom that goes through the chassis to the rear. I'm assuming one end of the loom is still in the chassis somewhere so I think I'm going to have to pull it all out and join it back together again. My question is where does the loom come out of the chassis at the rear? Also is it best to feed the loom back through the chassis once I've rejoined it or would it be okay to secure it on top?
Thanks

It comes out just on the inside of the rear chassis leg just behind the cross member out on of the big holes

inside or on top, your choice

I can take a photo of the exit point in a bit if you want

That would be great thanks. I have a feeling the exit hole has been welded up as I can't see one anywhere.

Sounds like it's had a new rear cross member?
7(is it?) Core trailer cable can be used to replace the lot front to back and run it anyway you like then.

Here you go this is where it goes in, drivers side just in front of the rear x-member (mine is a RHD vehicle)

just above that jate ring
