my series 3 is nw completely stripped down and im ready to make some repairs to the chassis but im unsure of what paint to use when ive finished. what undercoat and top coat do i use? any suggestions please

red oxide is a good bet to start with

yeah but only wiv more hammerite its got its own thinners most other paints dont like it at all

use the stone chip and then go over it again with underseal

hammerite is way too brittle - Frosts Chassis Black is the way to go, that's after you've primed it properly

i used some stuff from a local supplier (neals coatings )
its pretty tuff a mate that has a body shop (does a lot of trucks and vans ) he swears by the stuff.
i've just sprayed over me 8 spoke wheels with the stuff as well
