where are the identity number (plates) on a series 3 land rover, iv know about the one in front of the gear stick is there any others

The Chassis should also be stamped on the front right of the chassis on the leaf spring bracket. (unless it has a new chassis). Always thought on an S3 that the ID plate was on the bulkhead under bonnet and the Plate with the ID in front of the gear stick was used on S2/S2a.

I think thats it. there should be a chassis number on the o/s front of the chassis, if I remember correctly



but most likely dont .
