Hi All

Just a quick question: Where abouts on the chasis of a defender 90 would I expect to find the Chassis number? I'm currently viewing a few and want to check this.

passenger side of the front window, bottom corner, can only see it from the outside.

Think it's on the right hand rail towards the front. Shouldn't think it'll be very legible on most landies though due to dirt rust etc.

also under the bonet, on the left hand side (as you look at it from the front) on a metal plate. Hope this helps !

See the attached pic, the VIN visible through the windscreen is only on newer vehicles.
