Thieving scumbag steals a Defender and totals it while being chased by Police.
Gets let out on bail and steals a Ford Focus, also crashed and destroyed while being chased by Police.
Gets let out on bail....
What do you actually have to do to get custody these days? I assume run over the owner while stealing their vehicle?
Makes me so angry. The car thieves must be hawing with laughter as they talk about their day's "work".

shocking - but not surprised. Police too busy to even bother looking into mine. Took finger prints off it, not heard a thing.

What do you have to do to get jail time?

Take your mobile phone to the cinema, and upload it to some torrent site. That will do it.

Stealing everyone's pension fund, and using it to buy another boat? That's just good old capitalist fun.
