hi all

i hear that changing an air filter can make your vehicle improve its mpg
is this true or not!!!

i saw a k&n one that seemed to claim it was true
however it looked as though it sat out in the open under the bonnet
surly this would suck in hot air from the engine and i thought the idea was cold air???

v confused from "little snoring" "boringville"

Hi, I changed the airfilter on my P38 for an ITG Profilter, this is a direct replacement and fits in the original housing (thus sucking air from the inner wing as before). The filter is guaranteed for the life of the vehicle.
Their website is ITGAIRFILTERS.COM or phone number is 02476 305386. The part number for a P38 Range Rover is WB-430
I noticed a small increase in power as soon as it was fitted.

Hope this helps.
