I have recently renewed the locks on both of my 90's front door thanks to some excellent advice and help from this forum.
I bought five locks, wanting to change the rear door, ignition and fuel filer cap as well so that everything is on the same key.
I have dismantled the fuel filler cap until I am left with a casting containing the lock barrel. This is as far as I can get. Is it possible to remove the old barrel and replace it? Offering the new barrel up against the casting, it looks as though it is a Landy door type lock that has been used on the filler cap, but I can't get the bugger out to replace it.
I have searched previous threads and it seems a bit inconclusive as to whether it is possible. Can anyone shed any light on this? It would be nice to have one key to do everything.
Cheers
Tom
