cheers Steve

Absolutely nothing useful to contribute, but as you invited us chapesses to comment, I will :D.

They are very nice, its a shame they didn't show a pic of them on a Landy with nice tyres, so I found you one

7 x 16" Black Challenger Wheel

Hope this helps :D

i saw them on the stand at the indoor show.

There cheaper than the original design for a reason. I wish i had taken a photo to be honest. There is a big seam weld across the width of the rim and the spokes dont look upto much either, then there is the fact the spokes are flat on the reverse side.

They have there place as a cheap alternative. i wouldnt get them though, not worth it imho.

What tyres do you want to put on them?

The guy on the stall said they're coming out in 16x8 & 15x10 later on this year too.

They're certainly nowhere near the same build quality or strength as Mach 5s but they sure as hell look the same.
And as BGB said - the spokes aren't completely tubular - they're flat at the back, so anybody looking at buying a set of second hand Mach 5s from eBay etc should take note and bear this in mind, as this is about the only way to tell them apart when a tyre is on the rim, although you could search for the seam weld going straight across the width of the rim too, I guess.
