Hi Guys, I think I have fried the CL control unit in trying to fit a wireless transmitter system on my 89 Vogue SE. The central locking in now dead; the fuse is OK and I get nothing across the fuse box terminals at fuse 19 which is for the CL.

I am trying to find the control unit; according to the haynes manual it is fitted to the steering column support bracket under the steering wheel. I have removed the lower dash and have traced the wiring back into a mass of relays. The only separate box I can find screwed to anywhere is a Lucas black box with and orange plastic connector for the multiplug. I think that this is the dim dip controller?

Can anyone help with locating the CL locking control unit.?
