Even folks,

Its been a while, thing have been going well till now.

I popped a rear brake line a few weeks back. Managed to get them all changed
and fully bled! Unfortunately a new problem has reared it head.

The abs and tc lights came on during the pipe failure.
Replaced pipes and bled system.
Lights still on. ABS then traction.
Checked sensor, high resistance. changed for new.
Fingers crossed. Nope still there.
Only the other was around, traction failure and nothing else till the bus gets about 5 miles an hour then abs failure kicks in?

I've searched and can't find any mention of the faults in this order.
Has anyone else had this problem?

need to get an MOT in the next week or so.

Help

i'd suggest possibly an abs wheel speed sensor, but someone smarter than me will be along soon! Maybe got knocked out when the brake pipe failed, or when it was replaced. Theya re sensitive wee buggers. Only worked on one from an Audi Quattro i had - haven't been near them on a P38 though!!

Did you bleed the system properly according the the proceedure in RAVE? Otherwise get the fault codes read.

Thanks Gents,

Bled as per manual, I'll get the codes read this weekend I hope.

It just puzzles me as to why the traction fault shows but no abs fault until the car is moving above 5 miles an hour.

Thanks again
Drew
