Hi all
I gave my landy a good spin (thrash) around a field the other day and i got to about 40mph and around 3000rpm and it lost all power and all but stalled. after waiting a few mins it was fine again but it keepts doing it. i was thinking its either a fuel problem or mixture problem but im totaly **** when it comes to this sort of thing

any ideas

A couple of thoughts; the fuel pump isn't working well enough to keep the bowls full of fuel, so it runs well and then dies, or, the floats are not working in the bowls.

A simple test would be to disconnect the fuel pump electrically and see how well it runs, if it is similar to the fault - bobs your uncle..

Really does sound fuelish - not electric

little box attached to the side of the dizzy, opposite side to the vac advance unit.
