Hi all..

I have a small petrol leak coming from one of the carbs on my disco V8..

I have looked about for a gasket set for the carb only... but realy strugling to find one..

Since i'm going to be starting doing this beast back up again, i think i need to know some better places to get parts..

can anyone point me in the right direction...

Got a quote for 80 quid, Seems a bit steep for a gasket set.. Any pointers for a good parts place would be V usefull..

Paddock spares is where I get a lot of my mail order parts from.

Your best bet is to buy a landy mag. There are hundreds of parts suppliers in them.

i deal a lot with paddocks too but i try and buy local if i can , then yer can see what yer gerrin more,

I agree. I have a great place in Bristol for parts I need quick but if I'm busy or can't get there then paddocks is my weapon of choice.

never had problems with the stuff me self, a few people have , i likes LRSeries too, bit dear fer some stuff tho

As others say, Paddocks for most parts, Rimmers as a last resort (expensive).

For carbs only....SU's ...Burlen Fuel Services in Salisbury and for SU's and Strombergs, try Southern Carburettors in Wimbledon
