I’m putting a canvas hood on my series 3, if I were to use a car cover are they prone to trapping moisture and promoting mould?

In my experience yes.
Best to cough up for a frame type that doesn't touch anywhere.

I built a wood shelter wi a onduline roof, like a pergola thing but closed on one side -the prevailing weather side so that way ye keep the pisching rain off but let a wee breeze through to keep it dry.

There is only one proper course of action with such a dilemma. Divorce, relocation and a triple garage. It’s going to happen anyway so the sooner the better.
