Only read this query today - no serious replies so I took the bathrom scales down to the garage and weighed the capstan winch I have laying in a corner - 35kilos

Probably the reason he didn't get an answer was because no one else has ever bothered to weigh their winch.
They were too busy trying to weigh anchor..... using their capstan winch.
I know someone who has one to part with ... it's yellow ...
