Hi everybody ive just become a member site looks very good can anybody help ive a range rover 2.5dse only had it a couple a months had set of glow plugs recently and last weekend a new battery since then i cant unlock the passenger door all the levers etc are working but seems jammed shut when the lever in the car is pulled up it seems to have no resistance like the doors have what have I done wrong
 
as gav says is c/locking working? do you have eka code handy as may need re-programmed after having new battery fitted.
 
thanks for reply yep all other doors lock with fob and alarm sets but no life in pass door lock reset all windows and sun roof no joy
 
sounds like the wires come off the actuator or summat!!! might have to buy a new door card and smash yer way in on cut the striker ring!
 
bad news. lock internals broke. had t same prob. had 2 cut t striker bar 2 open t door. then dismantle t lock ( made in china ) AND GLUED t plastic break ,last march and still working. think i found it on rangerovers.net,

i d love 2 .but like t 38 my computer abilites are useless .but i can wrench like hell. and i know it may be a mistake but like 2 help if i can
