I have low battery warning coming on the dash of my range rover 4.4 v8 02, but im told if i change the battery i will have to have the key reprogrammed is this correct?

Apparently the trick is to connect another battery via jump start leads, whilst you change yours over. This will ensure continuity of volts to the electronics.

ffs Daft - are yer still half asleep?
ee's on about his remote plipper battery, not the car battery.

it's all in yer owner's manual matt

Providing you haven't let the old batteries go completely flat and you can switch over to new ones within a couple of minutes, you shouldn't loose any settings.
