Now I'm sure you knowledgeable forum members know this already but for the people with basic Land Rover repair/ service skills I would like to pass on a grease gun recommendation, the other week I thought I best grease the propshafts on my Defender as I have not greased them while I've owned it and after hearing a slight grinding noise somewhere from underneath when driving last week I had an inkling it could be dry props any way on with the recommendation, after doing a search for a decent grease gun on the net the name Wanner kept coming up now I'm sure new wanner guns are just as good but a lot of people were saying you can't get a better grease gun than the vintage wanner high pressure guns that are 40 or 50 years old now but still going strong, comments such as Rolls Royce of guns and can't get better kept getting said So I bought one off a well known auction site and yes they really are good so good in fact I've won another one with a flexible connector hose, so if anybody is thinking of buying one check out the Wanner oldies on auction site, their great and for not a lot of money.

Gone, test drove a few miles today and nothing further heard, so touch wood looks like it was dry propshafts
