I have two warning signs that keep going on and off. The first one is my traction control warning light which comes on at the same time as what i think is my desent control warning light ( it is a downward facing vehicle with an explanation mark next to it) can you tell me what is the problem?

Search the forum for HDC light, TC Light, Amber Light, Brake Switch, HDC Switch or 2 lights.

Its a comon problem caused by mal-adjusted brake switch, faulty brake switch, HDC (hill descent control) poor connection or faulty HDC switch.

You will be happy to know both are easy and cheap to fix.

If its a 1.8 or V6, put some slack in the throttle cable. Lights can come on if the cable is too tight as it thinks the throttle is stuck.
