basically a mate has driven up from devon to essex to pick up a defender 130 300tdi that he bought on ebay. the chap reckoned it needed a new wheel bearing cause it has developed a rather serious wobble. after driver god knows how many hundred miles with everything required for a wheel bearing, they discovered its actually the bushes on the stabilizer bar from the chassis to the running gear(believe its caled the panhard rod).
hes driving it to mine at a very slow speed, im in chobham, but he needs to get it back down to devon tomorrow. i know its a long shot, but does anyone in the surrey area have either another rod for sale, or by some stroke of luck a new set of bushes.
would be sooooo helpfull if anyone could help me.
