hi All Just Got A Discovery 300 Tdi With 173498 Miles On The Clock.she Runs Like A Dream And Is A Lovely Example.i Am Thinking Of Changing The Cam Belt Myself .I KNOW MY WAY ROUND A ENGINE I HAVE STRIPPED HEADS CAM CRANKS REFITTED THE SAME ALSO GEARBOXES. Could Anyone Also Tell Me If Any Specialised Tools Are Required For The Job And Any Pitfalls In Doing The Job Myself.thanks To Anyone Who Reads This Thread.

you will need a touque wrench of the bending bar type (sorry can't remember the proper name) to set up the tension.
