Those stupid fu**ing little bastards!!!

This happened at midnight on sunday/monday

This was my beloved 2001 V6 ES Freelander...

It was top of the range and fully loaded...

The police has ruled spontaneous combustion

Just gonna have to wait for the insurance to pay out now.

I have only had it 10 weeks

As much as I dislike Freelanders, no-one should have to suffer that. I know I would be gutted if my (real!) Landrover were treated to the torch.

Its about time the moral minority were battered into thier correct place. This would mean that we would be enabled to once again instill fear, respect and real values into kids. It might just stop this sort of **** from happenning.

Sorry about the Freelander ,
On a different note how long did it take to go up?? and did fireman sam have anything to do when he got there??.

Just had wifeys polo nicked and recovered now inclued,s broken door locks/rear lights/allsorts of crap inside inc, a pc and coats ,fag ends.
Also broke back bumper and an extra 3000 miles on it in 2 weeks!!!.

Oh and £140 to recover it from 3 miles away from are house now waiting for insurance to payup!!.

What gets me is that my Rangey was unlocked behind it on the street but they moved it to get the Polo off the yard!!!

My guess is they did,nt like the mud inside the motor and its not got a radio or heater!!.

Much as we take the **** out of Freelander owners, nobody likes to see this happen. Real sorry for you.

The question i would have to ask is: Why?

As a youngster i was a bit of a tearaway, much of which ive made up for in my older years.

But this wasnt done for a "laugh", theres a reason.

Have you upset anyone? Or is there a jealousy issue with someone living close by?

Had a letter come from the police....

I quote

"After extensive forensic testing we have come to the the conclusion that an electrical fault was to blame for the damage to your vehicle. We have ruled out arson and spontaneous combustion."

So i guess this is just part of the Land Rover experience.


At least there should be less danger of my Series IIA going up in smoke.



And yes i have noticed a distinct lack of Freelander support here. I guess there isn't the same sense of family loyalty that is shared between other Landy Owners.
