Can I bump start disco 1 without air con drive belt fitted

always makes me smile that does....
I`ve bump started various motor bikes & scooters over the years, most likely bump started the odd small car by my self, on a hill or in desperation,
but pushing a disco 1 fast enough to bump start it would need the hills of a devil to get it to start I recon....

on the other hand, I have "pushed" with another car, another non running car to start it, aided by 2 old car tyres tied to the front on my car..
I`ve towed cars to start them - on a long tow rope !!
god only knows how many cars i`ve started with jump leads over the years also too....

but still that word "bump" start gets me smiling....

If the engines good it'll start 1st turn of the engine. 3rd high, clutch in, get a couple of blokes to give ya a shove & she'll fire up no probs.

thats good to know mate....
but you`ll never get me pushing by hand now......

officialy an old fart now..;)

took a tug from the 90 to bump the disco v8 before we sorted the starter. Three of us pushing it with everything we had on the flat and it didn't want to know, fired right up with a real pull.

Major problem when you get to the bottom of the hill and it still ain't started!

Been there once or twice in the dim and distant ....
