well I have them on my P38. I put mine on in 06, not long after I got it. LR called mine a nudge bar though.

To be honest I see tonnes of LR's round here with them on and Ive never yet seen anyone stopped and a copper standing at the front of the vehicle giving the owner a ticket or whatever.

Ive even been stopped by the police when they thought I was on my mobile phone (which I hasten to add I wasnt! - they didnt have much to say when I showed them my phone sitting in its handsfree cradle thing) and they never said anything then.

Wouldnt worry about it, just stick one on.

as locket says if you could when it was made you still can.... and it was an option on classics

The law says that the manufacture and sale of new bullbars is illegal it doesn't apply to bullbars in exsistence when the law took effect. and doesn't apply to fitting to any vehicles. But your insurance company might have something to say unless you've told them the vehicle has a bullbar.

I have just remembered your previous post regarding electrical problems.

If you intend to fit a steel bull bar to your late model classic, remember that you have air bags and this can affect the time that the air bags take to inflate if you fit a non approved bullbar.
