I am rebuilding my 110 after an engine fire (link) and have got to the point of installing the new bulkhead wiring loom (300tdi)

I have got as far as running it though the bulkhead and am as happy as I can be with the where everything needs to go on the dash side I just have the laborious process of fitting it all in, refitting the dash and then beginning to connect things up.

AS I have a bare bulkhead and and a crispy fire damaged bulkhead I am not so sure of the cable routing and securing measures for the engine side of the bulkhead. I know where the bits of loom should go (i think) but not the correct, or most sensible routing for it to take, and also not sure how it is supposed to be secured in place so it does not wander and chafe.

If anyone has or could take pictures of their engine side bulkhead wiring that would be much appreciated, and any details on what should be used to clip in in place around the bulkhead and down the to wing corners.

Also what is this plug for? Clearly some sort of relay i would guess but do not recognize it from my old loom. again where should it be secures on the bulkhead.

Looks like it for the glow plug relay, seem to remember the glow plugs had yellow/black wires on my 300tdi

Well I have now finally got back around to installing the bulkhead wiring loom as the one I had was the incorrect one and had the earlier rubber bullet connectors for the steering column switches. I now have the correct loom with the later white plastic spade connectors. Now refitted and have fitted the fuse box ready for the lower dash to be fitted. This means ahead of me I will have a long time of trying to work out where everything should be situated, the correct wiring routing.
Does anyone have some pictures they could take of either a 200 or 300tdi engine bay bulkhead and wing wiring loom routing. I know it needs to go across each side and down under the wing to the light but do not know how it is routed around the pedal boxes on one side and the heater box on the other. I also need to work out how it should be secured in place to the bulkead.

I am working up to detaching everything from bulkhead slowly once I get the springs painted refitted.

Start with the lights tho the head, side, blinker are all color coded.
Each listed in shop manual wiring diagram.
They all go through hole in center of bulkhead then split off each side & engine.
Yes I not particularly looking to do that but it is part & parcel of it.

Yes this is my least favorite part of working on vehicles. I think I am happy with where most things are suppose to go in the engine bay and what they should be connected to. There is the odd plug or connection I am not sure of but I don't think everything is connected as the same loom is used for different variants. What I am struggling most with is the correct cable routing and securing methods as mine was all fire damaged so did not even have a reference when disassembling. It is little things like does it run over the top or beneath the heater box, how does it route around the pedals on the drivers side, how does it secure under the wing to run down to the lights at the front. As I think the fire was an electrical start I want to make sure all cabling is secured and protected so it cannot move and chafe causing a short.

The wings the ground is to the hard inner wheel well near lights bolted, the wires can be run through a metal or plastic loop also bolted to the inner well, one fore one aft. Or not.
There are several spots on the bulkhead that wire holders are attached, they snap in & have a strap for wiring.
If you talk to your fav LR shop they should be able to supply those.

I am going to take this apart but could be awhile as everything has to come apart!

To go through bulkhead there is really only one hole big enough.
I will not know if I have correct bulkhead until I get things apart!

Many thanks if it just secure to the inner arch with some sort of loop fixing that is nice and easy to sort out.

Do you know where or have any pictures? I know there should be some and I probabaly have the holes to fit them but I am starting with a blank new (to me) galvanised bulkhead and my old one looked like this so anything plastic has long gone:

Many thanks to @border for inadvertently answering this question and helping greatly by trying to sell his friends land rover (link) (which looks very clean and tidy). These pictures have helped enormously in tracking down the correct routing for the wiring loom and how/what it is secured to across the bulkhead.

However does anyone know what this cover is/part number? I have not seen it before on either my old bulkhead or the donor I have. it looks like it protects the wiring loom where it goes through the bulkhead and possibly acts as a heatshield against the back of the engine?

Get them from the Landy shop the ones that fit bulkhead & the loops for the wings.
The ones for the bulkhead it should be obvious which holes they fit.
My 90 did not have any I got them made a nicer setup.
It is kind of like braille you feel your way through the mess.
This is where I am at now, I will try to get a better picture of bulkhead wiring tomorrow
