Noticed some paint bubbling on the corner of bulkhead, started to rub it back,
looks abit like this.

Whats the next steps?

What did you do?

Filler?
Repair with a plate?
or the whole top corner section
or new bulkhead?

it had repair panels put in by a previous owner..

i just rubbed down the bubbleing and filled/rubbed down

Mine is just below surface and has not penitrated into the main bulkhead,
So im thinking a good rub back + clean, fill, rub back and paint will be sufficient.

Use a rust converter on whatever is left before you prime and paint. Unless you cut out and replace the metal, rust will eventually come back. :(

Yes but give it about 5 coats, let each coat dry before adding the next one. Put some rusteater on first though.

how do you go about getting to the inside? do you have to remove the whole dash and spray in with something?

I used some stuff called K-rust, it goes blue when dry and seems to work well, a patch on my bulkhead was left with just this stuff on for 6 months with no problems, didn't even need to sand it to paint it when i eventually got round to it.

All Done,

Ground the Crap
Rubbed it all back
Sprayed it with rust killer
Filled it
rubbed it back
two coats of antirust primer
3 coats of colour

Bobs your uncle, Not the best job in the world but itll last untill summer when its abit warmer outside then i plan on waxoyling chassis inside out and to get as much inside the bulkhead as possible.
