Hi just popped over from the discovery section

Daughters boyfriend has a 200tdi 90 and the bulkhead needs swapping to which i have been voluntered to do (I think they said help !)

I can remeber a few articles in LRO abhout how to do this but do not have the copies

Could anyone point me in the direction / provide a how to guide - its more the sequence i am intrested in

Having done a couple of bare bulkhead build-ups and also a fully built swop-out I can say that it certainly isn't the horror that some people say it is.
Yes you have to be methodical and don't underestimate how long it may take (depending on whether you find anything else requiring remedial work while you are at it) but it is all single person work that can be completed in a couple of weekends (with a few evenings thrown in betweentimes).
As to a sequence it is really common sense. Everything has to be removed (doors, windscreen, floor / tunnel, wings etc) and then it is a case of taking everything off the old bulkhead, removing it from the vehicle, substituting it with the new one and then refitting all the parts in reverse order. Don't tighten the mountings until the doors & windscreen are in position as it needs to be aligned but with that done you are on the home straight.
