Love it or hate it, wrapping my Defender 110 in vinyl seemed to get a lot of attention. The guys I lane with christened her Floella but maybe it should have been Marmite!

Anyway, after video views got me a replacement bumper following my little accident have a look at this to see what a Canadian Model maker is doing having viewed my films.

Amazing the level of detail he is going to.

Very nice, he does good work that guy. Used to be right into that myself, here's a Defender and a Discovery I did:

Nice. Do you still make them? Having looked at this being a keen amateur film maker and seen people make miniature green lane adventures, I quite fancy giving it a go but I'd need more trucks!!

I don't still make them now no, just due to a lack of time really. Looking through them old pics did make me want to again though! It's a lot of fun if it's your sort of thing, not for everyone but I think most at least appreciate the final product.

Here's the first video I ever did:

That was the first outing for that rig and the suspension and gearing wasn't right so it's not that realistic. Yes the possibilities are endless! Both in terms of building them and running them. A mate of mine pretty much makes a living out it! I don't have any Land Rovers left, sold most of my stuff as it never gets used now, just got a half finished F250 pickup.
