Hello everyone, I thought I would share my Landrover journey with you guys on here and see if I can get inspiration or give people some ideas I have had to take home to their own cars.

My Landrover is a Defender 90 County called Brutus

I bought Brutus just over 3 months ago and already have had many adventures and happy times in him, from camping trips to my first venture off-road. I loved Brutus the moment I saw him. I have never had a landrover before and had no idea what i was getting myself into. My first confusion moment was just after I bought him, I realised he had no form of musical device AT ALL ( i know, stupid buying a car and not even bothering to check something as minor as that haha). So my first mission was to fit a CD player and speakers as I love my music.

I whent about this by first removing the middle front seat and adding a cubby box

Once i had the box in i then fitted my CD player inside it as it seemed like the perfect place to have it.

I have wired it up from under the box to behind the button console on the dashboard. Once wired up all I needed was speakers, so i fitted..........a few....

As you can see, I have fitted 2 boxes under the rear bench seats, I made these out of MDF, sound proofing foam ( the blue stuff at the end), I sealed the box with tac nails and silicone sealer to make it air tight and then carpeted it. The boxes contain 2x 6"x9" Fli triaxial 375w speakers, 2x Fli 6" 255w component speakers, 2x Fli component Tweeters, and a 600w Sub, the speakers in the front are botch jobs from some old computer speakers (untill i get some better ones. The power for the sub comes from the AMP which is a Sub-Zero 300w, This is attached to the back of my cubby box.

In the future (possibly tomorrow) I shall be installing a Mudstuff Fascia to my dash, a fold out 7" dvd/mp3/cd/usb/sd player and a tv (either roof mounted or ontop of the sub so that people in the front and back can enjoy a film on the long drives. i shall be refurbing the entire interior with leather vinyl (blue and white), im going to be putting new seats in the front (bucket seats i think), and many many more additions that i shall add a list of at a later date, the project is going to take me probably many months is not years (if i keep having to repair him) so i will keep adding pictures and adding comments as i go.

If anyone wants any more info on any of the mods I add on here then either PM or reply to the thread and i shall put up a tutorial.

thankyou for reading here is a picture of Brutus next to his best friend 23Bluboys Lupo (also has a thread on a lupo forum and is doing ALOT to his car)
